Not a Weekend Friday, Resentment Gathers Above the City

Yesterday, M Boss asked me to book a bar, saying "Friday night: around 6:30, a bar in Shekou, preferably with a private room." At first, I thought confidently, am I not familiar with bars? Isn't that like counting my treasures? I casually recommended Mixy, and another sh said they could help negotiate a no-minimum-spend place.

Later, M said no, wanted something with food, like Hutaoli. I thought, okay, then it's just a Bistro, not my strong suit, but no problem! Since it involved a knowledge area I'm both familiar and unfamiliar with, I simply found a few places and went out to scout them after 5 PM. First, I ate at Yuangu Yunjing, a Chinese-style bistro in Nanshan MixC World. The first impression was like a teahouse: people talking softly, neither too deserted and lifeless nor too noisy and restless. The food was mainly Chinese creative dishes, like all other innovative cuisines, with fancy shapes and ingredients. The Chinese-style cocktails were good, not just for the sake of using Chinese liquor, but with a light and elegant style like tea. Overall, it was relatively quiet, but there were no private rooms and no reservations. Later, I saw some related design descriptions.

After that, I went to Villaa, a villa-style restaurant and bar. The food was Western cuisine, and the drinks were cocktails (and some bottles few would open). The environment was quiet and comfortable, with private rooms suitable for business meetings, and reservations were possible. The minimum spend for a private room was 1500 yuan, about 250 yuan per person. The decor was very clean, and the second floor was a summer night rooftop.

The 3456 places I looked at in between can be skipped; most were unsatisfactory at a glance. The last one, MoonFlow, was next to Nanshan Book City, mainly a cocktail bar with a few snacks. Fewer people, with a quiet second floor to sit (not a private room). Good drinks, a pure cocktail bar type, about 100 yuan per cup.

Finally, it ended after 2 AM. I summarized the three types and let M consider based on the food-to-drink ratio, and sent him the conclusion. This morning at 11 AM, I was woken up by M's call, asking how I considered this matter. I said, it depends on what type you want, I think Villaa is good. M was silent, then said maybe we should change to another place, let's go to Hutaoli. He wanted the atmosphere of listening to songs.
