Honestly, there's not much atmosphere at the training camp in Songshan Lake, and you can't meet dalaos (or girls) from other schools. Everyone is either taking care of their health or fighting happily, only Bei Ye's figure pacing around thinking about problems stands out. The computer room for the high school group has no girls at all; only by occasionally doing the junior high group's problems can you catch a glimpse of girls during the review sessions.
There's a girl with curly hair next door who seems pretty good. Maybe I'll never escape the magic of curly hair in my life?

By the end of this summer, my OI career has spanned nearly three years. The first two years were without feeling; I didn't know the height of the sky and the depth of the earth, so I wasn't nervous at all. At that time, I had no understanding of the future, thinking that easily getting into a key high school was already a victory.
Since last summer when I saw dalaos at Jizhong, I've been complaining about not studying hard in the past, constantly fearing what my future will be like, and also constantly making my future self regret.
Now there's only half a week left before school starts, and I'm still considering whether to take a leave of absence or drop out to study OI. Simply put, dropping out indeed has no loss: an extra whole year to study OI, and next year I can continue as a sophomore. But whether this year will be struggle or decadence, I have no confidence. Besides, even if I make progress this year, what height can I reach, and what can I strive for? Fate has favored me once; how can I beg for her favor again?
Is this kind of thinking an escape? Is it chasing dreams or coveting the comfort of being alone in the computer room? The efforts I see, are they really efforts? Or am I deceiving myself by hiding in a safe zone?
Perhaps I am such a person who goes back and forth, always procrastinating until everything is over before getting the only conclusion: regret.

These two days I've talked about this with many people: the coach, Bei Ye, Mom, Zhanpeng... Thanks to everyone for their advice.
I've decided to let Mom talk to the school about this. No matter what the final result is, I want to do this. It's not that youth is meant for making mistakes, but for doing things that you won't regret when you think back later.
What I need to do now is to understand well what I'm about to do. What competitions to participate in this year, what training camps to attend, what to do when. What knowledge points I still need to learn, at what speed to catch up on them, how to arrange the ten private tutoring sessions.
I can't let myself move forward aimlessly anymore. If I'm given a clear, sufficiently close goal, then I can probably move forward firmly.

School is getting closer and closer, and the things I've been avoiding are approaching my life as usual. The summer homework I never intended to write, hair grown to a length that will definitely get me scolded, the regret of achieving nothing all summer...
I've reached a point where I don't want to face anything at all. I buried myself in games all day, not wanting to think about anything, and my temper has become irritable. I don't want to go to school, don't want to accept a new class, don't want to face anyone. Even though things I avoid will eventually have to be faced one day, I still covet that pot of warm water.
No, the water temperature is wrong! I always say that. Only two days left. No matter what, I have to figure things out. Even if I procrastinate a little longer before facing it...
